Course description: In this one day demo workshop Simon Levin will introduce techniques that might change the way you think about throwing on the wheel.  The truth is that the wheel is just another hand-building tool.  What might you make if you thought more openly and freely about this wonderful tool?  Techniques like paddling, faceting, adding volume from the interior, squaring, throwing off the hump, and throwing square will be demonstrated.

All techniques shown will be anchored in a running discussion on making with considerations for the wood-firing process.
